CCAEJ recognizes the intersectionality of issues affecting our communities and therefore, actively participates in several coalitions.

Inland Empowerment (IE)

Inland Empowerment is a coalition of community organizations in the Inland Empire whose focus is to increase civic participation through engagement of historically ignored and disenfranchised communities. Intersectionality is a key component of our collective work.

California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA)

The California Environmental Justice Alliance is a statewide, community-led alliance that works to achieve environmental justice by advancing policy solutions. We unite the powerful local organizing of our members in the communities most impacted by environmental hazards – low-income communities and communities of color  – to create comprehensive opportunities for change at a statewide level. We build the power of communities across California to create policies that will alleviate poverty and pollution. Together, we are growing the statewide movement for environmental health and social justice.

We represent approximately 20,000 Asian Pacific American, Latino, and African American residents in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Joaquin Valley, Los Angeles, Inland Valley and San Diego/Tijuana area. We combine organizing, movement-building, and strategic policy advocacy.

Moving Forward Network (MFN)
